For the Culture

Hoop Flickz (@hoopflickz) is an Instagram Community account that focuses on featuring basketball photography from our favorite sports photographers. We are a collective group of creatives whose sole purpose is to help give other creatives and influencers exposure by collectively sharing some of their best work with the world. As we continue to grow, we will start to give you a glimpse into the lives and backgrounds of such influential people and give you a closer look at those who are often times either behind the scenes or behind the lens. The Content

Our goal is to share content in a very unique way, by strategically utilizing the Instagram platform in a way that has never really been done before. We want to take advantage of Instagram stories and IGTV to keep people engaged with images, articles, videos, etc., all while never having to leave the app. We will use Instagram posts as a way to showcase the basketball photography community and use the other features to give our followers and experience they won’t forget.

The goal of Hoop Flickz is to provide creatives a platform to share their stories, their ambitions, and provide resources to those inside the community who need them. The effort to provide people with a voice is one that comes with a tremendous responsibility to ensure that we protect the ideas of those involved, as well as give people a safe space to create. Photographers, videographers, and other creatives in the basketball community share many of the same goals, but have various methods of achieving them. We want Hoop Flickz to be a place that acknowledges those differences and finds a way to bridge the gap so that our community continues to grow, learn, and build together.
